Overview

Providing a combination of spectacular mountain scenery, picturesque lowland farms and villages, a wealth of cultural interest and a challenging pass crossing, the Annapurna Circuit trek is justifiably popular. On this trek, we’ll take the short version, Annapurna Circuit I, more accessible to those with limited time to enjoy the experience.

One of the many highlights of the Annapurna Circuit is the Kali Gandaki river, which cuts deeply between Mt. Dhaulagiri (8,167m) to the west and Mt. Annapurna (8,091m) to the east. The river’s ravine is five times deeper than the Grand Canyon, making it the deepest ravine in the world.
