Overview

Lhakpa Ri is situated in Tibet and is a popular climbing peak owing to its easy accessibility and its proximity to world's highest mountain, Mount Everest. Climbable by a relatively safe and straightforward route, favourable directions and lower gradient give Lhakpa Ri an advantage over other 7000m, making it higher than anything outside Asia. The ascent of Lhakpa Ri can be accomplished by anyone who is in a fit condition, well acclimatized and highly motivated.

There are two ways to access Lhakpa Ri: either you fly to Lhasa, the capital city of Tibet, or you drive from Kathmandu to Zangmu, the border town between Nepal and Tibet. Then, you drive through, Nyalam, Tingri & Everest Base camp by land.

Our trip kicks off with a flight to Lhasa and then the overland journey across the Tibetan Plateau. The trek and climb with these awe-inspiring views of Mt Everest are the perfect ingredients of this special expedition. It will also give a life-long impression of Tibet and its people.
