Overview

The Everest region is one of the world’s most popular and spectacular trekking destinations and is famous for its spectacular mountain peaks, including Mt. Everest (8,848m) and several other giants. The rich Sherpa culture and their friendly nature are an added extra bonus on this awe-inspiring trip. The most challenging part of this trip will be the hike across Khumbu Glacier to reach our final goal to Everest Base Camp, and the hike up to Kala Patthar – the highest point – for its breath-taking view.

We’ll go through the Sherpa capital of the Khumbu, the bustling market village of Namche Bazaar, and Tengboche, the home of Nepal’s most famous monastery, situated beneath the impressive backdrop of Everest and Ama Dablam (6,856m), to name but a few. The Everest Base Camp and the view point of Kala Patthar are the other highlights of this trip.
