Overview

The Everest region is one of the world’s most popular and spectacular trekking destinations and is famous for its spectacular mountain peaks, including Mt. Everest (8,848m) and several others. The rich Sherpa culture and their hospitality are an added bonus on this amazing trip. This trek is ideal for those people with a short holiday in Nepal.

Tengboche is the home of Nepal’s most famous monastery, and has long been the religious centre for the inhabitants of the Solu Khumbu. It is perched on a ridge at 3,870m. The sunset view from here is phenomenal! We’ll go through the Sherpa capital of the Khumbu, the bustling market village of Namche Bazaar, the past famous trading centre between Tibet and Nepal.
